Installation and Cutting
Ensure the surface is clean, dry, sound and as even as possible. Mark out your design before cutting the mouldings to size.
For a right-angled wall frame, cut the two adjoining ends at opposing 45° angles. A mitre box and fine-tooth saw help you achieve a neat result. Always check the fit before applying adhesive.
Use a solvent-free mounting adhesive specifically suitable for polystyrene and your wall surface. Apply it to the rear contact areas and press the moulding evenly into position. Follow the adhesive manufacturer’s instructions. Acrylic caulk should not be used as a substitute for mounting adhesive.
