Subfloor Preparation and Installation

The subfloor must be clean, dry, level and sound. Remove dust, dirt and loose debris before installation. Larger uneven areas must be levelled beforehand; this underlay is not a substitute for a levelling compound.

Measure the installation area and cut the sheets to fit. Lay a single layer with staggered joints, placing the edges closely together without overlapping. Install the floating vinyl flooring over the underlay.

Calculation: required area in m² × 2 = number of sheets required. Round up to a whole number of sheets and allow extra for cutting waste.
