Important Installation Note for Tiles ⚠️
👉 When installing on ceramic tiles, additional reinforcement with a suitable монтаж adhesive may be required.
Adhesion strongly depends on the tile surface:
✔ smooth, flat, glazed tiles → usually sufficient adhesion with the self-adhesive layer
⚠ textured, porous tiles or deep grout lines → reduced adhesive strength possible
➡ In such cases, we strongly recommend using an additional mounting or hybrid adhesive (e.g. Pattex DK Flex 1000) to ensure long-term secure bonding.
Substrate Requirements
For optimal adhesion, the surface must be:
✔ clean
✔ dry
✔ free from dust, grease and oil
✔ stable and as smooth as possible
⚠ Highly absorbent or porous surfaces (e.g. untreated wood, MDF, OSB, chipboard or heavily textured walls) may reduce adhesive strength.
➡ In such cases, additional bonding with a suitable mounting adhesive is recommended.
