Calculate the number of planks you need

One plank covers 0.13935456 m². An order of 20 planks provides approximately 2.79 m² of flooring before cutting waste.
To calculate your quantity, divide your floor area in square metres by 0.13935456 and round up to the next whole plank. Allow additional material for cuts, corners and your chosen laying pattern. For a continuous floor area, order the full quantity, including spare planks, together, as colour variations may occur between production batches.
Prepare the subfloor before installation
The subfloor must be firm, level, smooth, clean, dry and free from dust and grease. Loose material, uneven areas and contamination can affect adhesion. Before starting, check that the existing surface is suitable for directly bonded flooring.
Plan the direction of the planks and any necessary cuts before removing the release paper. Position and press each plank into place according to the installation instructions. Follow the product-specific guidance on subfloor preparation and installation conditions.
Designed for light domestic use
HY1083-12 PVC flooring is rated use class 21 and is intended for lightly used areas in the home, such as bedrooms or guest rooms with low foot traffic. Always consider the actual level of use in the area where you plan to install the flooring.
The PVC material is water-resistant. However, the installed floor is not watertight because of the joints between the planks. Suitable kitchen areas and dry parts of bathrooms may also be considered where conditions are appropriate and use is light.
Do not install in showers, permanently wet areas or locations exposed to standing water. Installation over underfloor heating is not recommended.
Care and colour considerations
Remove loose dirt regularly and wipe up spills promptly. Clean the floor gently and avoid leaving standing water on the surface.
